Spotlight Theatre announces exciting summer arts camp lineup
MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) -The Spotlight Theatre is thrilled to unveil its lineup for 2025 summer arts camps for young performers to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop theatrical skills in a fun, yet supportive environment while also promoting the upcoming Titanic The Music set to hit the stage this weekend.
Summer Camp Highlights
The camp schedule includes a variety of programs tailored to different age groups and interests:
- The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition from June 16 to 28 for grades 4th to 8th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performances scheduled for June 27-28 at 2 and 7 p.m. Cost: $375. Camp sold out.
- Footloose: Youth Edition from July 14 to 26 for 7th to 12th graders from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performances on July 25-26 at 2 or 7 p.m. Cost $375.
- Disney Musical Theatre Camps for Grades K–3: Session 1 is from June 9 to 13; Session 2 is from July 28 to Aug. 1. Time is 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $200 per session.

Titanic The Musical to run April 4 to 13
Epic and majestic, with moments of heartbreaking intimacy, Titanic captures the triumph and tragedy of the hopeful passengers on the ill-fated Ship of Dreams.
This production will be unlike anything The Spotlight has previously produced in that it will be a completely immersive experience from start to finish.
Performances will be April 4, 5,11, and 12 at 7 p.m. and April 6 and 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets will cost $22-$27.
Additionally, Tea on the Titanic is set to get underway on April 6 and 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where patrons can step back in time and indulge in an elegant tea experience featuring delectable refreshments inside the Blue Print Bar and Lounge.
